1.  Scope
It consists of an aluminum conductor at the core. The conductor is typically stranded to increase flexibility and conductivity. Surrounding the conductor is a layer of insulation, usually made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which provides excellent electrical insulation properties and resistance to heat and moisture.
The cable uses aluminum as the conductor material due to its relatively low cost and lightweight nature compared to copper. The insulation material is XLPE, which offers high dielectric strength and durability.
YJLV aluminum-core cable is available in different nominal voltage ratings, such as 0.6/1kV, 1.8/3kV, 3.6/6kV, 6/10kV, 8.7/15kV, and so on. The specific voltage rating depends on the application requirements.
